Maike is such a great trainer! I attended some of her prenatal yoga sessions while I was pregnant with my second kid. I really enjoyed the classes and couldn't wait to get back into the swing of things after I gave birth. I started working with her one-on-one and I'm so glad I did. She pushes me to help get me closer to my goals and she's so good with my son. (Babies are allowed during sessions) We have incorporated him into some of the work outs and it's truly been an amazing experience. It's been so good not only physically, but mentally. I started working with Maike ~7 months postpartum and she not only helped me to get my workout confidence back, but also introduced me to something I had never done before: weight lifting! She's super knowledgeable, was very accommodating to both my chronic back issues as well as the simple fact I hadn't worked out in a looong time. Maike's prenatal yoga in Pacifica is amazing! I've never really been a big yoga person, but decided to try out her small group prenatal yoga classes with a friend. What I found was that the yoga practice taught me how to unlock and relax parts of my body (like my back) which have now become tired and sore during pregnancy. I also appreciate how she provides ways to adapt the flows for varying stages of pregnancy, and absolutely love being part of a super friendly and supportive mama community.
